Araucanía Region

Located about 700 kilometers (435 miles) south from Santiago, Chile, the Araucanía region can easily be accessed by land or sea. It also marks the starting point for the intense green in the south of Chile and the land guarded by the impressive presence of volcanoes which draw the Andes mountain range profile, covering itself by forests, lakes and rivers.
