Araucanía is a territory of harmonic contrasts, like skiing on the slopes of an active volcano and immersing yourself in the rich waters of a hot spring on the same day. The series of existing volcanic groups along the Andean-Lacustrine territory of the region, give rise to the highest concentration of hot springs in a single region of Chile. The Araucanía also houses the largest amount of Protected Wild Areas in the country, 13 in total, with extensive forests of araucarias, lakes and volcanoes. It is these elements that enrich the thermal experience offered by the region.
